Lintle Community Awakening (Lintle) is a community based initiative operating from Tshwane. Lintle is registered with Department of Social Development as Non-Profit Organisation (NPO). CIPC as a Non-Profit Company (NPC) and with SARS as Public Benefit Organisation (PBO). The latter registration allows us to issue tax certificates to all our donors (individual and/or corporate).This means that your donations are tax deductible.

Our Premise

A nation is as rich as it’s poorest member of it’s community! Community Development must begin at grassroots level upward. Communities should create their own solutions and drive their own development. Community based initiatives are an excellent tool for national service delivery. They are a small but crucial means through which the NPOs contribute towards achievement of National Development Plans. These initiatives are usually birthed by individuals who live in the same community and are intimately in touch with existing community needs, challenges, resources, opportunities and possible solutions. Creating solutions at community level presents the best chances for collective ownership, success and meaningful results.
